Shmuel and Jackie are in their fifties.
Shmuel and Jackie are two brothers, who are patients at the Tzabar Hospice Homecare. They had a special wish; going on a road trip with both of their families, showing their children places where they grew up and have fond memories from.
This road trip included a total of 14 people! A trip that took plenty of organizing because of the brothers’ disabilities and their need for oxygen supply. This wish would not have come true without generous support from many people. Many thanks are due to the donors of Keshet Hamishalot, to the charming “Kinner Galil” Hotel for their two-day warm hospitality, to Shlomo Berger, C.E.O of Medipedia Ltd. for providing mobile oxygen units, to the “A. Eilat” bus company and to Danny Sofer, the driver for his dedicated service. We also want to thank the volunteer nurses of Tzabar Hospice Homecare – Adi Bar and Dorit Carlin, to Ayelet of Tzukim for organizing a soap workshop at Tzukim, to the Kalia Hostel for organizing lunch, to the Aqua water park in the Kineret, to the photographer Daniel Feinberg who took pictures and a huge thanks to all Keshet Hamishalot volunteers.
